FC Dallas goalkeeper Josh Lambo (Middleton) will be part of the Major League Soccer Generation adidas team that will play in South Africa later this month, 3rd Degree reported.
Lambo, who also was on the Generation adidas side that played three friendlies in England last year, has seen little game action over the past year with the MLS Reserve Division disbanded.
Lambo, who turns 19 on Nov. 19, hasn't played in an MLS game in his two seasons, as he's behind Dario Sala and Ray Burse Jr., on the FC Dallas depth chart. He also was the backup to Brian Perk for the U.S. team at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in September in Egypt.
3rd Degree reported that the Generation adidas team will leave Nov. 27 and return on Dec. 6.
